Eight Months Old

Truthfully, I felt like I was pregnant forever! It's hard to believe this beautiful and sweet baby is 8 months old.  I feel like these past 8 months have flown by in a blink! 

Our sweet girl is a mastered crawler, can pull-up on everything, feeds herself tiny food, holds her own bottle, loves water, belly laughs all the time, demands to be held, loves walks around the neighborhood in her red wagon, and makes the sweetest little coo noises.

Pumpkins!

It's true- I have a weird love for fall & every single thing Pumpkin! Coffee, bagels, beer, donuts, creamer, muffins, pie, pancakes... you name it & I am in! I have been counting down the days until this amazing season arrives.  Now may crisp weather & fall leaves start coming our way...

I even walked into Trader Joe's yesterday and saw these and were instantly SOLD.

Of course, I am ALL about a pumpkin patch! So we jumped on the wagon (literally- Hay ride wagon) and headed with the neighbors.  

We got a Pro!

That little baby girl that was in my belly less than 8 months ago is now crawling around.  People warned me about this.  How waiting for her to arrive took FOREVER, but now that she's here time is on fast-forward.  Our little blessing is growing like a weed.

Cruisin' Around!

We sailed the ocean blue on a cruise with the family.  It was wonderful getting to see everyone and watching Sydney adore Kennedy! It was special being together.

Hilton Head Island Adventure

"Life is like a vacation.  It goes way too fast and you wish you had taken more pictures."

Sunny days, clear blue skies, oak trees older than our grand-parents parents, charming strangers, the best BLT egg sandwich ever, Salty Dog's, warm breezes that bring in the salty air, long bike rides, spending your days talking about how you could possibly move here- some day, never staying up past 10 PM & up in the morning before even the sun peeked its head up,  never getting sun-burnt, wine & cheese to feed a bus-load and thinking about all the family members we would love to share this place with- Hilton Head Island.

Kennedy's 1st biking adventure- seemed positive, but ended with tears. I wouldn't consider her a fan just yet of bike riding.  We were "those" people who found ourselves driving the .8 to the beach.

Seemed like a perfect opportunity for a mid-day nap.  Perfect vacation attitude, if I do say so myself! 

Friends you feel like you've known forever and blessed that they showed us a piece of their paradise.

Sad I forgot our good camera and our plan B camera was dead.  Glad we snapped some phone pictures to recall our love.

Not everything can be perfect in life, but knowing your family is always there with open arms to make it better makes me one lucky girl.  I need to remember to count my blessings and not my shortcoming.
